Universal Wire Cloth Co. works closely with various shipping and trucking companies because shipping preferences differ from customer to customer. As a part of your order process our sales team will communicate shipping options and discuss an estimated delivery window with you. Though we do have preferred vendors such as UPS and FedEx (Ground, Air & Freight) which provides us with a discount to pass along to our customers, we also work with our clients to choose how they want to ship their order both domestically and internationally.

For our business partners shipping can be set up directly with your account number where we can ship orders in your name also know as drop shipping or blind shipping.

Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping is calculated using the overall package dimensions (Length x Width x Height) as well as the total weight and finally the destination zip code.

Depending on overall dimensions and weight some items will need to be packaged, crated, or placed flat on a skid to ensure it arrives to you intact. Generally, your order will be sent via ground services, however air freight options are available as well. If you have a preference or a question, please let our sales team know. 

Prior to your order confirmation, our sales team will indicate approximately when your order will ship. If there are any changes needed you will be notified of any unforeseen delays.

Expediting options are available for an additional cost and will be subject to the shipping courier’s demand. Note: As unfortunate as it is delayed shipments occasionally happen and are typically out of our hands in transit. 

We utilize UPS World Ship and Federal Express for critical Next Day Air, Second Day Air and standard ground shipments on small to medium-size packages. 

Larger LTL truck shipments can be delivered through various motor freight carriers such as FedEx Freight who offer “Priority” or “Economy” shipping or orders can be shipped by a customer’s preferred carrier.

Yes, if you already have an account with a courier, we can use your account number to schedule your pickup and ship your order.

Yes, multiple orders can be consolidated upon request to save on time, packaging, and freight costs.

Yes, Universal Wire Cloth Co. offers blind shipments where your order will be completed without any Universal Wire Cloth branding.  Keeping your private information has and will always be our number one priority.  Whether using generic shipping labels or labels provided by our customer, Universal Wire’s reputation for loyalty and honesty provides our customers with assurance their blind shipment travels directly to each customer saving time and money.

Your order will be marked to your desired destination and from our Morrisville location unless otherwise discussed.  In terms of blind shipping NO Universal Wire Cloth names or labels will be used aside from our physical address. Additionally, some orders may need to be individually packaged and marked with order information that we will be happy to accommodate.

We do everything in our power to safely package your order. However, accidents do happen from time to time. Though this is typically out of our control, we will work with you to file a claim with the transit company.

Yes, local delivery is available for an additional charge.

Yes, your order can be picked up any normal operating day Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
