Functional & Appealing

Infill panels are one of our most in demand products we produce as it often accompanies our wire mesh manufacturing. Offered in a variety of metals these panels are expertly crafted with a variety of fabrication expertise. Using appropriate metal stock, our standard frame is first formed to construct a “U” shaped metal channel that fits over the outer edges of the wire mesh insert to act as a border or frame. This edging is used as protection to prevent the outer side wires from bending or pulling out. It also acts as a safety feature to guard from any damage when handling. These “U” binder edges can also have holes punched strategically through them to allow for bolting or securing the screen in place and for exterior applications to allow for drainage of any water accumulation. A fixture or tab can also be applied to the edging as an optional method to allow for securing your panels.

Popular in bridge walkways and as barriers in stadiums, parking garages & train stations, infill paneling is a common request from architectural and construction firms recruited to source these items. At the same time, contractors and homeowners find this duo to be a unique alternative to standard deck edging and basic fencing options. Regardless of your application or demand we have the resources to meet your infill paneling needs.

Infill Panel FAQs

An infill panel is comproprised of two parts: The wire mesh insert and accompanying frame. A vareity of wire mesh specifications can be used and cut to a specific requirement. A frame is then applied using metal stock that is bent to form a “U” channel around the mesh edge. Corners are then welded into place completing the basic assembly. Additional features like tabs, draingage holes (for exterior applications) and coating options are also available.

The purpose of an infill wall is to provide unquie asethic to s specific location while still allowing for light and air to pass through it. For example, a resturant / bar might have a series of designer infill walls that seperates the kitchen, dining and bar area from one another that could offer a unique industrial appeal to the business.

The metal stock used to create the “U” channel can be made of stainless steel, plain steel or galvanized steel.

Cladding refers to a covering or layer applied to an exteral surface. Wire Mesh cladding is starting to become more popular option as it creates unique aestehic to a building facade. An infill panel typically has a frame and is often used a guardrail or fencing along walkways and staircases.
