Wire Mesh Weaving

Universal Wire Cloth Co.‘s wire mesh weaving operation is expanding! Two new weaving looms and another fully automated crimping machine are running at full force. We continue to grow our tooling collection with a variety of precision-cut crimping wheels and hardware upgrades. Additionally, we still are maintaining a healthy raw wire inventory in these demanding times.

As a result, more woven specifications can now be manufactured in a wider range of mesh openings, wire diameters, and crimp styles. These new capabilities allow for the production of custom mesh incorporating various materials to a customer’s exact requirements.  Furthermore, we have added many designer styles to our product line that are both unique and functional. 

These additions have also increased our production of industrial standards like the popular 1” Opening .120” Intercrimp and the 2” Opening .250” Lock Crimp weaves. Many of these wire mesh “standards” are available in rolls or sheets in stock and ready to ship.
