Type 304 Stainless Steel

Woven Stainless Steel is an excellent basic Stainless and is often referred to as 18-8 stainless, meaning 18% Chromium and 8% Nickel. It is the most commonly used grade in wire cloth. It operates to approximately 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Type 304 Welded Stainless Steel

Welded Stainless Steel is an excellent basic Stainless and is often referred to as 18-8 stainless, meaning 18% Chromium and 8% Nickel. It is the most commonly used grade in wire cloth and operates to approximately 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Type 316 Stainless Steel

A higher grade of Woven Stainless Steel, Type 316 has an addition of at least 2% Molybdenum which adds increased corrosion resistance in salt water and chlorine. Also, it can withstand higher temperatures compared to Type 304.
