Wire Mesh Fabrications

Universal Wire Cloth Co. Offers custom fabrications of wire mesh for all types of applications. We have provided industry with wire mesh fabricated items used for Filtration and Sizing, Security and Safety, to Material Handling and Production Applications for many years.

We offer services such as cutting, shearing, bending, forming, rolling, welding, stamping and slitting to produce your specific requirements. We also manufacture screens for many OEM’s.

Our products include Shaker or Vibrating Screens, Sifting and Sizing Screens, both Open and Closed Cylinders, Large and Small Diameter Discs, Baskets, Trays, Liners, and Separator Rings to name some.
We offer various hook styles for our Shaker Screens which are designed to fit your specific equipment. (Show our hook design examples here)

These hooks can be made using various metals such as standard galvanized, stainless steel or even Copper. Our hooks are designed using heavy gauge metals in one or two PC construction which provide optimum strength and prevent mesh pull out, which will maximize the life of your screens.

We offer screen sections made with a single layer, double layer (half sandwich) or triple layer (full sandwich) of mesh formed inside a single hook for various applications.
Canvas inserts or our special soft vinyl inserts can be added in the hooks which provide a soft edge between the hooks and the screen to prevent the hook edge from rubbing against the mesh which can increase the wear of your screens. (Insert pictures)

Our Separator Rings are offered in several sizes such as 18", 24", 30", 48" and 60" diameters. We can apply the mesh to these rings by either an epoxy or by welding.

Other type of fabrications include the addition of special edging to your screens. We offer a canvas type edge or a clear, flexible vinyl edge as well as a metal "U" binder. (Show pictures)

These act as both a safety edge, and help to prevent wires from fraying out. Center strips and grommets can also be added.

UWC offers full or part rolls of mesh as well as cut-to-size pieces. Short run of long run orders are easily handled using our custom made, high speed cutting machines. And our "in house" Quality Control carefully inspects each job for accuracy and quality before, during and after completion.

Packaging is also carefully inspected to assure your order is well protected to prevent potential damage during shipping.
